Brief introduction





 



The hydraulic throttle manifold can remotely control the opening and closing of the hydraulic throttle valve, with the standpipe pressure, casing pressure, and hydraulic throttle valve opening/closing position displayed on the control panel. This product, an essential indispensable device for successfully controlling well surges, blowouts, and implementing oil and gas well pressure, is mainly used to maintain the balance of bottomhole pressure.



 







Performance and features





 



The well testing throttling manifold is set between the high-pressure upstream equipment and the low-pressure downstream equipment to generate the pressure drop required by the separation equipment. By changing the opening of the throttle valve with the blowout preventer closed, the manifold can maintain a slightly higher casing pressure than the formation pressure to prevent formation fluids from flowing into the well, thereby avoiding oil pollution.



The throttling manifold consists of throttling valve, gate valve, pipeline, fittings, and pressure gauge. When the pressure inside the well increases, the opening of the throttle valve (manual, hydraulic, or fixed type) is adjusted to discharge the fluid inside the well to reduce the well pressure. If the pressure is too high, the gate valve should be opened to blow out the fluid from the well.

8. A mid-position non-leakage type three-position four-way manual directional control valve can be adopted, which has a small operating torque and ensures the accuracy of the throttle valve position switching and the stability of the throttle valve switch position.





9. The control box control pressure can be configured according to the rated working pressure required for driving the throttle valve, meeting various working requirements.





10. A backup air source can be added. In case of on-site air supply interruption, it can supply the valve position sensor and valve position indicator to work usually, providing data for emergency manual operation.





11. An insulation system can be added to heat the hydraulic oil in the oil tank and the pneumatic pipeline, ensuring the viscosity of the oil in cold regions and avoiding ice blockage of the pneumatic directional control valve due to water vapor in the air source.





12. The standpipe pressure and casing pressure data are collected by hydraulic sensors, which have fast response speed, high accuracy, good stability and mature technology, and have natural explosion-proof features. Moreover, they can work without power (independent of air source and power supply).





13. Data is displayed on a 360° pointer-type large dial, which is intuitive and has a maximum resolution of 20 PSI.
