Vacuum freeze dryer is the full name of freeze dryer. It is divided into four main parts: vacuum system, refrigeration system, circulation system (heating system) and control system. on the basis of the purpose of using, freeze dryers are divided into pharmaceutical freeze dryers and food grade freeze dryers. 1. Refrigeration system
It consists of pipes inside the freezer and freeze-drying box. The function of the freezer is to cool the freeze-drying chamber and condenser to generate and maintain the low temperature required for their operation.
2. Vacuum system
Vacuum the freeze-drying box and cold trap. It is mainly composed of freeze-drying box, condenser, pipeline and valve, vacuum instrument and vacuum pump. 3. Circulation system (heating system)
Provide a source of heat and cold for the shelves. It consists of a series of cooling and heating heat exchangers, the heat transfer medium is powered by a circulating pump, the components are connected by stainless steel pipes, and the heat transfer medium realizes heat exchange between the shelf and the product.
4. Control system
Control freeze dryer operation and process settings. All instruments that need to be controlled and adjusted are installed in two separate cabinets: the electrical cabinet for the electrical system and the control cabinet for the instrumentation and control system.
5. Hydraulic system
It is mainly used to press the stopper into the bottle mouth at the end of freeze-drying, for example, the freeze-dried powder of medicines in vials.
6. Cleaning system online cleaning system (CIP)
It is used to clean the freeze-drying box and cold trap after freeze-drying.
7. Sterilization system
In-line sterilization system (SIP) is used for sterilization before and after lyophilization in freeze-drying ovens and cold traps.
8. Defrost system
After freeze-drying, defrost the water trap before the next freeze-drying operation. Common defrosting methods are divided into two types: steam defrosting and water bath defrosting.
